What is VI Peel?
The VI Peel is a gentle yet powerful medium-depth chemical peel designed to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity. It uses a blend of Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA), Retinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, and Vitamin C to stimulate cellular turnover and exfoliate damaged skin. It’s perfect for first-time peel users and safe for all skin types.

What happens during the treatment?
Your provider will cleanse your skin thoroughly, then apply the VI Peel solution in layers. The peel may feel slightly tingly or warm, but most patients find it very tolerable. You’ll leave the office with the peel solution still on your skin and wash it off at home 4–6 hours later, following your personalized aftercare instructions.
What does the peeling process look like?
Day 1–2: Your skin may look slightly red or tan.
Day 3–5: Expect peeling—typically around the mouth, cheeks, and chin first.
Day 6–7: Most of the peeling is complete, revealing fresh, glowing skin.
Don’t worry—it’s a manageable, not scary peel. Most patients say the flaking looks more like a sunburn peel than a full “snake-shed.”

How do I care for my skin after the peel?
You’ll receive a home care kit with gentle wipes and post-peel towelettes. Key tips include:
Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 30+ daily
Do not pick or pull at peeling skin
Keep skin moisturized with the provided aftercare products
Avoid active ingredients (like retinol or exfoliants) for 1 week
When will I see results?
Many patients notice improved skin as early as Day 7, with continued improvements over the next few weeks. For best results, we recommend a series of 3–4 peels spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
How many treatments will I need?
For best results, we typically recommend a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. For deeper acne scars or stretch marks, you may need up to 6 treatments. We’ll customize your plan during your consultation.
Can I combine VI Peel with other treatments?

Are there any side effects or risks?

There is minimal social downtime. You can go back to work the same day, though you’ll begin peeling around Day 3. Plan your peel accordingly if you have a special event coming up!
